Morning Skincare Routine

These products have saved my life! Ok, that's a little dramatic, but they've definitely been essential to keeping my skin glowing and clear. I’ve never had horrible skin, but I wasn’t satisfied with the way my face responded to face soaps.  I’d wash and moisturize  for a month or two but my skin would still look dull or ashy.  I bought some expensive products, looked into water softeners, even went to a dermatologist because I wanted “the glow”. I was invested! After putting in so much effort and yielding no results, asked myself “WHAT’S THE POINT?!” and just gave up.

After watching many YouTube videos on the importance of skincare, the benefits of anti-aging yada yada I decided to give this a try and finally found a daily system that works for me.  IT’S SO SIMPLE! I have a moderate skin type but my T-Zone is pretty dry, especially this time of year.

STEP 1: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT SKIN BRIGHTENING DAILY SCRUB

I believe you should use a scrub at least once a week to exfoliate the skin and get rid of excess dead skin cells.  However, this scrub is gentle enough to use daily.

STEP 2: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER

I apply a generous amount of this to my face after the scrub paying specific attention to my T-ZONE.

THAT’S ALL FOLKS!! EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY!!

BONUS FOR BREAKOUTS: BAKING SODA

I’ll add a little baking soda to the face wash if I’m having a minor breakout.  The baking soda dries up the pimples and doesn’t leave scars.  After I wash and moisturize, I’ll apply a dot of baking soda directly to the spots and VOILA! They’re gone by morning (for the most part lol).

LOVE YOUR SKIN! 😀
